Adult Education classes are held several times each year. Examples of past classes include: How to Act Like a Christian, based on the book by Leigh Anderson, What is Love, Anyway?, an ecumenical series with Church of Christ the King and based on Deus Caritas Est-the first encyclical of Pope Benedict XVI, and What Paul Meant, based on the new book by Gary Wills.
Weekday Bible Studies are held at 9:30 A.M. on Mondays, 12:00 pm on Wednesdays, and 9:00 A.M. on Thursdays. The Monday Women's Bible Study is being led by June Tamburra. They are currently studying the book of Job. The Wednesday Brown Bag Bible Study is being led by Pastor Rick and is following the Lectionary scripure selections for each week. The Thursday class, led by Kevin Newburg, is studying the theme of Making Sense of the Old Testament.
Special Lectures, NOOMA films and discussions, and special studies are also held during the year. This year's selections include: The Gospel Truth; Comparison, Background and Themes of the Four Gospels, Big Changes in PCUSA presented by guest lecturer Judy Kolwicz, Suffering and the Courage of God, a lecture being presented by the Rev. Bob Morris of Interweave in Summit, and Parenting: We Are All in This Together.
