Tillmes House

Tillmes House is a home for girls in the Newark area who have been removed from their families by the NJ Division of Youth and Family Services.  Tillmes House burned down four years ago.  At that time, several of our church members assisted the girls in replacing their clothing, which was lost in the fire.

Tillmes House just reopened a couple of months ago, and they realized there are a number of items that they still need.  Many of these are small items, such as dish towels, pots/pans, brooms, etc.  In addition, they are seeking contributions towards larger items, such as repaving the driveway now that the construction is complete.

A box will be placed in Fellowship Hall to collect items.  If anyone wants to make a financial donation for any of the larger items, please make a check out to "FPCNV," with a note in the memo line stating it is for Tillmes House.  We are hoping some of you will be able to help Tillmes House with some of the things on their wish list.
