The lenten season is upon us, and I welcome you to the New Vernon Presbyterian Church website, our "Church at the Crossroads."  We share a rich history of faithful service to the community and the world.

What a great opportunity for you to come and see what is happening.  We invite you to move into the future with joy and purpose.  In addition to our worship services each Sunday at 10:00 a.m., there are many opportunities to be a part of a learning, growing, serving community of faith.  We will continue our efforts at helping our neighbors along the shore recover from the devastation of Sandy.  Even if you have never been a member of a church, come and see what makes this community different.  I think you will find a place of spiritual growth, lasting friendships, and a place where you can make a difference in the world around you.

Invitation to Membership

We invite you to consider membership in this church by profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord, and upon promise to support the church with your prayers, talents, time and resources.   Inquirer's classes for those interested in membership are held as needed throughout the year.   Please contact the Church office, our pastor, or complete a pew card so that we may contact you in person.   The card may be placed in the offering box or handed to an usher or to a worship leader at the door. 

Worship

Sunday at 10:00 a.m.  The Sacrament of Communion is offered the first Sunday of the month; baptisms are celebrated upon member's request.
